Types of Membership

Membership in the League is annual. Dues flow through the national office, to learn more visit lwv.org/lwv-membership.

Membership dues and contributions to LWV of Tyler/Smith County, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible to the extent that the laws permit.

Know that your membership dues add to our grassroots strength and our financial resources at the local, state and national levels.

Payment Methods

LWV of  Tyler/Smith County receives membership due payments via the National Office.  Please visit lwv.org/lwv-membership to join or renew. 

Donations to our local league can be made anytime via:
Check (mail to PO box or drop off at event)
Paypal (paypal.me/lwvtyler), a small donation to cover credit card processing fees is greatly appreciated

Important Tips to Know

LWV of Tyler/Smith County's new website automates membership sign-ups, communications, event calendar management, organizing volunteering opportunities and tracking donations all on one platform.  A few tips:

• Current Members – You will need to log in to renew your membership.
• When you join/renew, you will receive two emails from us:  
• A signup or renewal confirmation email.
• A payment confirmation email after the payment has processed. The signup confirmation email will include a temporary username and password. You can change both the username and password to something you will remember the first time you log on. If you sign up as a household, your secondary member will get an email with his/her own username and password.
• All members should log on every time they interact with the LWV of Tyler/Smith County website. Only by logging in can you see member specific content and have your contact information prefilled when registering for an event, signing up to volunteer or making a donation.
• Forgot your username or password? Click on the Forgot username/password button on the log on page.  Or contact ClubExpress by phone at (866) 457-2582 on weekdays 6:30am – 9:00pm CT to talk to a live person or email at support@clubexpress.com anytime. They are helpful, friendly and patient.
